Jeff O’Driscoll grew up in the beautiful mountains of rural Utah. Now, as an experienced emergency physician, he expresses his personality through art, literature and public speaking. After 20 years of virtual silence, Dr. O'Driscoll shares some of his most personal experiences in his award-winning book, Not Yet.

Jeff O'Driscoll, MD, received his training at the University of Utah School of Medicine and completed his residency in Salt Lake City, Utah. He is board certified in internal medicine and is a fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians, with twenty-five years of experience as an emergency physician in a level-one trauma center.
Dr. O'Driscoll recently took a leave of absence from emergency medicine to pursue consulting and to write. He has previously published a novel, a series of children's books, works in theology, ancient scripture, history, medical science and medical administration. His most recent award-winning book, Not Yet, focuses on spiritual encounters he experienced during 25 years in the emergency department.
In addition to writing, Dr. O'Driscoll enjoys painting, sculpting and cycling. He is a talented public speaker and loves teaching both small groups and large audiences. He and his wife, Sheila, have been married for thirty-two years. They have five children and three grandchildren.
