Love Intertwined

Every individual has one or more gifts. Some are obvious; others more subtle.

My dear friend, Suzanne Giesemann, has a gift for communicating with souls who no longer live in this physical realm. After my daughter Rachel passed, Suzanne offered to sit with me and share communications from Rachel.

My daughter had come to me repeatedly after her passing. I didn’t feel the need for anyone’s help. More recently, however, despite knowing Suzanne was too busy to offer individual readings, I wondered if I’d be testing our friendship to ask if she was still willing.

Turned out, I didn’t need to ask. Suzanne sent a text: “I have been thinking for a long time that I would like to do a reading for you if that’s something you would like . . . It would be my pleasure to simply do my best for you.”

The timing felt right, so we proceeded. Durning our wonderfully uplifting session, Suzanne suddenly interjected, “Rachel’s showing me her wedding ring intertwined with her husband’s ring, as if he’s done something.” Then the session, just as quickly, went on to other topics.

I later reached out to my son-in-law. He sent a picture and an explanation. He’d kept Rachel’s engagement ring as it was, but asked a jeweler to incorporate her wedding band into his, to make them one.

The jeweler declined, fearing he would damage Todd’s ring. But after learning of Rachel’s passing, he acquiesced. Just as Rachel had shown Suzanne during our session, Todd had intertwined their wedding rings, making them a permanent symbol of their intertwined lives.

I’m grateful for generous souls like Suzanne and the myriad gifts they exercise to edify others.
